The DB-8225 breaks out the 37-pin DB37 I/O connector of the A-82X and PCI-1800U series to a screw terminal board, so field wiring can be landed without custom cabling. It provides 16 single-ended or 8 differential channels, and the package includes a CA-3710 DB37 male-to-male cable (45º, 1M).
Analog input channel 1 carries an on-board cold junction circuit, and the channel can be set to single-ended or differential mode by jumper. Solder pads allow break detection, low-pass filtering, current shunt and voltage attenuation to be added to the signal path where the application requires them.
The board measures 170 mm x 114 mm and is rated for an operating temperature of 0~ +60 °C, a storage temperature of -30 ~ +80 °C and 10% ~ 90% humidity, non-condensing. It carries CE, UKCA, FCC and WEEE marks.
