I-7550E CR is a PROFIBUS DP-V0 slave gateway that bridges a PROFIBUS master to Ethernet devices using TCP or UDP. Engineers can connect existing Ethernet equipment to a PROFIBUS network without changing the master, with up to 240 bytes of input and 240 bytes of output data.
The Ethernet side can operate as a TCP/UDP server or client, so the converter can suit either polling or initiating communication patterns. Configuration is carried out through the built-in web server using a standard web browser, and the bus address (0~126) is set by DIP switch or stored in EEPROM.
Isolation is provided on both sides, with 2500 Vrms high speed iCoupler isolation on the network side and 3000 VDC on the PROFIBUS side. The plastic DIN-rail housing is rated for an operating temperature of -25 ~ +75℃.
