NS-205PFC CR is an unmanaged Ethernet switch that combines four RJ-45 10/100Base-TX ports, each operating as Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), with a single 100Base-FX multi-mode fibre port. Power can be distributed centrally to connected powered devices, with automatic detection of PDs and automatic power management.
The SC fibre uplink supports high-speed 100 Mbps transmission over distances of up to 2 km for full duplex operation, with 62.5/125 μm fibre recommended. Because the link is optical, electrical noise is kept out of the connection, and the 1500 Vrms isolation rating adds further protection.
The CR variant is fitted with a +46 to +55 VDC power input, reverse polarity protection and DIN-rail mounting, and is rated for operation from -30 °C to +75 °C. It suits cabinet installations where a single supply must feed several PoE devices.
