The NSM-200SX CR converts 1000Base-T copper Ethernet into 1000Base-SX multi-mode fibre, letting engineers extend a network segment or bridge a copper device onto a fibre backbone without changing the surrounding equipment. It offers a single RJ-45 port and a single SC fibre port, with Store & forward processing and IEEE 802.3 Ethernet, flow control and energy-efficient operation support.
Link Fault Pass-through (LFP) can be enabled with a DIP switch, so a fault on one side of the link is reflected to the other side. This helps the connected devices detect link loss quickly. The alarm relay output and dual redundant +12 VDC ~ +48 VDC power inputs with reverse polarity protection add resilience to panel installations.
The metal housing is suited to DIN-rail mounting, with wall mounting as an option, and the unit is rated for an operating range of -30 °C ~ +75 °C. Choose this variant when you need a multi-mode 850 nm link of up to 0.55 km with SC connectors.
