The PCI-1602FU CR is a high-speed multifunction card for PC-based data acquisition. This ordering code is the 200 kS/s version of the PCI-1602U series, sampling its 16-bit analog inputs at up to 200 kS/s and buffering results in an 8192-sample hardware FIFO, which helps when capturing fast or multi-channel signals on a host PC.
The board fits Universal PCI slots and works with both 3.3 V and 5 V PCI buses. Analog inputs can be set to 32 single-ended or 16 differential channels by jumper, with programmable gain of 1, 2, 4 and 8. Alongside the analogue side, it offers a 2-channel 12-bit analog output and 16 channels each of 5 V/TTL digital input and output, with pull-high and pull-low resistors on the DI channels. The board is pin-compatible with the PCI-1602/F and does not need changes to existing software or drivers.
This order includes one CA-4002 D-Sub connector. Driver support covers Linux, DOS and Windows, with a DLL and ActiveX control plus sample programs for several C, Visual Basic, C#.NET and LabVIEW environments. A Card ID switch lets software identify each card when two or more are installed in the same computer.
