PMC-5231M-4GC CR is a metal-cased power meter concentrator for energy monitoring and management projects. It gathers readings from ICP DAS PM Series Modbus power meters over RS-485 or Ethernet, and can also bring in M-7000 series and standard Modbus I/O modules, so that consumption data and device control sit in one unit. The 4G variant supports the China frequency band.
Configuration is done entirely through a browser-based web interface, so no programming is needed. Power data can be viewed in real time or as history, and statistics reports are generated from the same pages. A built-in IF-THEN-ELSE logic engine and schedule functions support power demand management, with alarm messages sent via LINE, Telegram, Email or SMS.
Power data is written to a microSD card and automatically sent back to the back-end system when a dropped network connection is restored. Integration with SCADA, MES and IoT platforms is provided through Modbus TCP/RTU, SNMP, FTP and MQTT, and connection to Microsoft Azure, IBM Bluemix and ICP DAS IoTstar Cloud is supported.
