The TP-7170/NP CR is a panel mount touch monitor built around a 17-inch TFT LCD with 1280 x 1024 resolution and a 5-wire analogue resistive touch layer. It suits operator interfaces that need a rugged front bezel, front-panel IP65 protection and a wide -20 ~ +70 °C operating range.
The /NP suffix identifies the variant without a power supply, so a separate +12 ~ 48 VDC source is required (consumption 22.0 W). The unit provides one RS-232 combo port and one USB port, and the on-screen display covers brightness, contrast, clock, phase, position and sharpness adjustment.
ICP DAS states that the TP-7170 is guaranteed to work with its PAC control systems, including the WP8000, LinPAC and XP-9000 series. Driver support is listed for Windows, Windows IoT, WES, WinCE and Linux.
