The UA-7231M CR is an IIoT communication server that links field devices to IT systems. It polls remote I/O modules and controllers over Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU/ASCII, MQTT and EtherNet/IP, then republishes that data through OPC UA, MQTT and SNMP, which can run at the same time. This makes it a practical bridge between shop-floor equipment and MES, ERP or SCADA platforms.
Data logging is built in. I/O values can be written to a remote MS SQL, MySQL or MariaDB database, or saved as CSV files on a microSD card. If the remote database becomes unavailable, the offline recovery mechanism helps keep the record intact. Cloud connectivity covers Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, IBM Cloud and ThingSpeak, and IFTTT can trigger app notifications from events.
The unit is powered from +12 ~ +48 VDC or via PoE (IEEE 802.3af, Class 1) and mounts on a DIN rail in a metal case. The CR ordering code is the RoHS-listed version of the UA-7231M.
