ACS-20W-MRTU CR is a wall-mounted no-touch infrared sensor switch with a white cover. It lets people open a door by palm induction, so occupants do not need to touch a handle or button when entering or leaving a room or building. The induction distance and relay hold time are adjustable, and a double-colour indicator shows the switch status.
The switch has a Modbus RTU slave interface on RS-485, allowing an access control system to enable or disable it remotely and to read back its time-stamped induction records. Each entry or exit can be logged, with storage for 1,600 records. The single Form C relay provides both N.C. and N.O. contacts, and the switch can operate in Sensing/Standby, Lock or Toggle Switch mode, so it can also control other electronic equipment.
Typical sites include medical institutions, retail stores, food processing, industrial plants and offices, where reducing contact with door hardware helps limit the spread of germs.
