ALM-Horn-MRTU-BR is a piezo alarm siren that reports and responds over RS-485 using Modbus RTU, so it can be polled or controlled from SCADA, HMI or Modbus utility software. It accepts a dry contact signal on its single digital input and provides one open collector output, making it suitable for passing alarm conditions between field devices and a supervisory system.
The -BR version has a water clear upper cover fitted with 8 blue and 8 red ultra-bright LEDs. Blue indicates system status and red indicates alarm status. DIP switches select one of four alarm tones and set the input to NO or NC operation. The siren produces 120 ± 5 dB at 10 cm / 3.0 kHz without the waterproof membrane.
The unit runs from 12 ~ 48 VDC with reverse polarity protection and draws 0.48 W in standby. It measures 119 x 119 x 48 mm, mounts on a panel or a wall, carries an IP43 rating and operates from -20 ~ +75 °C.
