The ET-7204 CR is a multifunction Ethernet I/O module that combines four analogue inputs, four analogue outputs and four digital inputs or counters in one DIN-rail unit. Each analogue input can be set to a suitable range, with 240 Vrms overvoltage protection, and each analogue input or output can be switched between voltage and current using its jumper position.
An integrated 2-port 10/100 Base-TX switch with LAN bypass allows the module to be daisy-chained along a network line without a separate switch. Modbus TCP and Modbus UDP are supported, and the built-in web server provides a Web HMI for configuration and monitoring.
Engineers typically choose the ET-7204 CR for building and factory automation, machine control, and remote maintenance or diagnosis projects, as well as test equipment. Dual watchdogs and programmable power-on and safe output values help keep the process in a defined state.
