The ET-7224 CR combines analogue output, digital input and digital output channels in one DIN-rail Ethernet I/O module. Each of its four analogue outputs can be set by jumper to voltage or current, covering +/-5 V, +/-10 V, 0 ~ 20 mA and 4 ~ 20 mA, which suits engineers who need to drive a mix of field actuators from a single module.
Communication is handled over Modbus TCP and Modbus UDP, with a built-in web server and web HMI for configuration and monitoring. The integrated 2-port 10/100 Base-TX switch, with LAN bypass, allows the module to be daisy-chained along a network line without a separate switch at each node.
Designed for building, factory and machine automation as well as remote maintenance and diagnosis, the module offers dual watchdogs, programmable power-on and safe values for outputs, and 2500 VDC I/O isolation with 1500 VDC Ethernet isolation.
