The ET-7226 CR is an Ethernet I/O module that brings mixed analogue and digital signals onto a Modbus network from a single DIN-rail unit. It suits engineers who need six differential analogue inputs and two analogue outputs alongside two digital inputs (with counter function) and two digital outputs, without adding separate remote I/O modules.
Each analogue input can be configured individually for voltage or current ranges, including +/-500 mV, +/-1 V, +/-5 V, +/-10 V, 0 ~ 20 mA, +/-20 mA and 4 ~ 20 mA, with the input type set by jumper. Open wire detection is available for 4 ~ 20 mA inputs. The analogue outputs support voltage and current ranges, and the power-on and safe values of the outputs are programmable.
The built-in two-port 10/100 Base-TX switch with LAN bypass supports daisy-chain wiring, and the module offers Modbus TCP and Modbus UDP, a built-in web server and Web HMI, and access control by ID, password and IP filter. Isolation is rated at 1500 VDC on the Ethernet side and 2500 VDC on the I/O side.
