The ET-7228 provides eight analogue output channels for engineers who need Ethernet-based control of analogue field devices. Each channel can be set to voltage (+0 ~ +5 VDC, ±5 VDC, +0 ~ +10 VDC, ±10 VDC) or current (0 ~ 20 mA, 4 ~ 20 mA) using the jumper for that channel, so one module can cover mixed field devices.
Modbus TCP and Modbus UDP are supported, and the built-in web server and Web HMI provide browser-based access to the module. The two RJ-45 switch ports with LAN bypass allow daisy-chain topologies, and the power-on and safe values of each output are programmable.
Isolation is rated at 1500 VDC for Ethernet and 2500 VDC for I/O. The module runs from +12 ~ +48 VDC with reverse polarity protection, and is designed for DIN-rail mounting over an operating range of -25 ~ +75 °C.
