32 isolated digital inputs for wet contact signals. The I-8040W-A1-G CR accepts wet contact signals across 32 channels, with each channel photocoupler-isolated from the logic side. Input ON levels span +3.5 to +30 VDC, and the OFF threshold is below +1 VDC.
Each input can be wired as either sink or source type, so the same module suits both NPN and PNP field devices without changing the hardware. Every terminal is rated for ±4 kV ESD contact protection, and the module provides 3750 VDC intra-module isolation.
This ordering code includes the CA-4002F DB37 female connector. The module also supports an optional daughter board, such as the DN-37-381-A CR, which simplifies field wiring for multi-channel installations.
