The I-9024U provides four single-ended analog outputs for engineers who need voltage or current control signals from a PAC I/O system. Each channel can be configured on its own, so a single module can drive a mix of 0 ~ +10 V, ±10 V and current-loop devices without a separate module for each signal type.
Output protection and fail-safe behaviour are built in. Short circuit protection is fitted to the outputs, and both a power-on value and a safe value can be set per channel so outputs settle to a defined state at start-up or when communication is lost. Open wire detection is available for the +4 ~ +20 mA range.
The module is rated for 3000 VDC intramodule isolation and ±4 kV contact ESD protection on each terminal. It is powered from a 15 ~ 30 VDC terminal block with reverse polarity protection, and draws 2 W maximum. Its operating range is -25 ~ +75 °C, and the housing measures 31 x 134 x 144 mm (W x L x H).
