The M-7003-G is an RS-485 remote I/O module that combines eight 16-bit analog inputs with four Form A relay outputs in a single DIN-rail unit. Each analog channel can be given its own input range, which suits mixed sensor installations where signal types differ between channels. Voltage or current input is selected by jumper, and the sampling rate can be switched between normal and fast mode depending on the response needed.
The module is built for electrically demanding environments. Analog channels tolerate up to 120 VDC overvoltage, and the design includes 2500 VDC intra-module isolation and a 4 kV ESD rating on each terminal. A built-in dual watchdog supports unattended operation, while the relay power-on and safe values can be programmed so outputs take a defined state after start-up or a communication fault.
The M-7003-G is grey-cover variant of the M-7003 for engineers who need DCON or Modbus RTU access over a shared RS-485 bus. Typical uses include building and factory automation, machine control, and remote maintenance and diagnosis.
