M-7017-G CR is an RS-485 analog input module that takes eight differential channels, each able to accept either voltage or current signals on the same input range. Engineers can configure the Modbus RTU or DCON protocol in software, which makes it suitable for distributed measurement in remote I/O networks.
Input resolution is 16-bit with an accuracy of ±0.1% of FSR. Voltage ranges run from ±150 mV to ±10 V, and current ranges cover ±20 mA, 0 ~ 20 mA and 4 ~ 20 mA. The 4 ~ 20 mA range needs an optional external 125 Ω resistor, and open wire detection is provided for that range. Channels are isolated from the module at 3000 VDC and protected against ±120 VDC overvoltage.
The built-in dual watchdog covers both the module and communication, and the module is designed for DIN-rail mounting with a power input of +10 ~ +30 VDC. The gray cover version is RoHS-marked.
