WP-8829-CE7 CR is an 8-slot WinPAC controller that runs Windows CE 7.0 with the InduSoft Runtime pre-installed, giving engineers a single platform for human machine interface and supervisory control tasks. The ordering code corresponds to the 300-tag InduSoft variant.
The controller is built around a Cortex-A8 CPU clocked at 1.0 GHz, with 512 MB of DDR3 SDRAM and 256 MB of flash. Its eight I/O expansion slots accept I-8K (parallel-type) and I-87K (serial-type) series modules, so the system can be tailored to the signals in a given panel or machine.
For connectivity, the unit provides two 10/100/1000Base-TX Ethernet ports, two USB connectors and four serial ports, including an RS-485 port with 3000 VDC isolation. Redundant power inputs with an alarm relay add supply resilience, and the unit is rated for operation from -25 to +75 °C.
