XV110 CR adds 16 isolated digital inputs to a system and accepts both dry and wet contact signals. Dry contacts can be run over an effective distance of up to 500 m, which suits switch and relay sensing across larger plant areas.
Each channel can be wired as sink or source type, and every channel can operate as a 32-bit counter. Photocoupler isolation on all channels, 3750 VDC intra-module isolation, 4 kV ESD protection and 70 VDC overvoltage protection on the inputs help the board withstand electrically noisy industrial environments.
- Suited to pulse and event counting with a 50 Hz frequency and 10 ms minimum pulse width
- Communicates through a single RS-232 port using Modbus/RTU at 115200 bps, N, 8, 1
- Draws 0.25 W maximum and is powered at 5 VDC from the terminal block
