TPD-283U-M2 CR is a compact 2.8-inch touch HMI from the TPD series, designed to replace mechanical switches with programmable control pads. It has a 240 x 320 colour TFT display with 65535 colours and a resistive touch panel, and it mounts on a standard wall outlet box.
Connectivity covers one RJ-45 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet port with IEEE 802.3af PoE (Class 1, 48 V), one RS-485 port with Self-Tuner, and a USB 1.1 client port for firmware updates. The unit can also be powered from a +12 ~ 48 VDC terminal block. Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU are supported, along with custom communication protocols written in C.
Programming is handled with the free HMIWorks tool, which offers Ladder Designer for PLC-oriented users and a C language environment for software engineers. The gray-cover variant includes a real time clock, buzzer, rotary switch and reset button.
