tPET-P2R2 CR is a compact Ethernet I/O module for monitoring and switching digital signals over IP. It pairs two wet-contact digital inputs with two power relay outputs, and it can be configured and monitored through its built-in web server. Modbus TCP connects it directly to HMI, SCADA, PLC and other software systems.
The module offers a dual-watchdog arrangement: a CPU watchdog that resets the unit if the firmware misbehaves, and a host watchdog that moves the outputs to a predefined safe value if the controlling PC or PLC fails. Power-on and safe values can be set for the digital outputs. The 2-ch DI supports latched input, 32-bit counters and frequency measurement, and DI-to-DO pair connection over Ethernet is available for direct device-to-device control.
Power can be supplied by PoE (IEEE 802.3af, Class 1) over a standard Category 5 cable, or from a +12 to +48 VDC terminal block input where no PoE switch is present. The module mounts on DIN rail, measures 52 x 95 x 27 mm and operates from -25 to +75 °C, making it suitable for installation in control cabinets and machine enclosures.
