CAN-8224-G is a DeviceNet slave remote I/O unit that accepts two plug-in I/O modules, letting you build the channel count and signal mix your application needs. It follows the DeviceNet Specification Volume I and II, Release 2.0, and can address up to 64 nodes.
Expansion slots accept I-87K or I-8000 series digital input, digital output, analogue input and analogue output modules. The unit is configured with rotary switches for MAC ID and baud rate, and an EDS file can be generated with the CAN Slave Utility for use with different DeviceNet masters.
- Supports the Poll, Bit-Strobe and Change of State/Cyclic I/O operating modes
- Galvanic isolation of 3000 VDC (DC-to-DC) and 2500 Vrms (photo-coupler)
