The Win-GRAF PC Runtime CR turns a standard or industrial PC running Windows into a SoftPLC. Once the runtime is installed, applications are developed in the Win-GRAF workbench and executed on the PC itself, so engineers can combine PLC logic with Windows software on one machine.The runtime supports all five IEC 61131-3 programming languages and includes libraries for motion control and fieldbus communication. Real-time motion and I/O control is achieved with the ECAT-M801 PCIe EtherCAT master card, which runs the motion engine and EtherCAT master on a dedicated processor. Motion is handled through PLCopen function blocks, covering single-axis and coordinated multi-axis control of up to 32 axes with a 0.5 ms cycle time.Communication options include EtherCAT, Modbus TCP/RTU and a built-in OPC UA server, which allows standard OPC UA clients to connect without custom development. Shared memory and programming interfaces for C, C++, C#and LabVIEW let in-house or third-party Windows applications access PLC data directly.
