Sniffer
The ZT-CHK CR is a USB-connected wireless sniffer for engineers who need to see what is actually travelling over the air in an IEEE 802.15.4 network. It captures the data packets as they are transmitted and passes them to a PC, where TI SmartRF Protocol Packet Sniffer software displays them in real time.Captured packets can be viewed or stored on the PC for later analysis. The captured traffic corresponds to ZigBee 2007 (ZigBee Pro), which makes the module useful for examining IEEE 802.15.4 communication in your own applications and for shortening wireless communication test cycles. No external antenna or external power supply is needed, as the module uses an integrated 2.4GHz-3dBi PCB antenna and draws power over USB.Installing the SmartRF Protocol Packet Sniffer software also installs the ZT-CHK driver, which supports Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7 and 8.
