The RS-M8194H brings 4-axis pulse-type motion control to a host system over a single serial link. Its embedded I-8094H motion module handles axis control, so a PC, PAC or PLC running Modbus RTU can command motion without the host generating step pulses itself. It can also run stand-alone as a motion controller, which makes it useful where a remote axis unit is needed.Motion features include 2/3-axis linear interpolation, 2-axis circular interpolation, T/S-curve speed profiles and programmable automatic homing. Several units can be combined in multi-station, multi-axis layouts, and the front connector suits simple wiring across these stations.For commissioning, the EzMove Utility lets engineers test motion and create macro programs without compiling code.
