The ET-2215H is an Ethernet remote I/O module for engineers who need fast, accurate temperature readings from RTD sensors. Each of its eight channels accepts Pt100, Ni120, Cu50 and Cu100 sensors and can be configured individually. In Fast Mode each channel samples at 90 Hz, while Normal Mode runs at 1.5 Hz per channel.
Three-wire lead resistance compensation keeps readings reliable when cable runs are long, and open wire detection flags a broken sensor connection on any channel. Accuracy is specified at ±0.05 % of FSR in Normal Mode and ±0.1 % of FSR in Fast Mode, both at 25 ℃, with a 16-bit resolution.
The built-in 2-port switch with LAN bypass allows modules to be daisy-chained, reducing the number of switches needed in a panel. A built-in web server handles configuration, access is protected by password and IP filter, and firmware can be updated over Ethernet. Galvanic isolation is rated at 1500 VDC on Ethernet and 3000 VDC on I/O, and the module is specified for EFT, ESD and surge immunity to IEC 61000-4-4, -4-2 and -4-5.
