I-7520A CR converts an RS-232 serial port, such as one on a standard industrial PC, into an RS-422/485 差分 output for longer-distance serial links. The RS-232 side is galvanically isolated with 3000 VDC, so the devices on that side are protected from noise and faults on the RS-422/485 network.
Automatic RS-485 direction control means the module handles transmit and receive switching without extra wiring or software changes. ESD protection on the RS-232/422/485 data line adds robustness in electrically harsh installations, and the unit supports baud rates from 300 to 115200 bps.
The blue-cover A variant suits applications where the RS-232 devices are the more expensive or sensitive side, as the isolation sits there. The plastic DIN-rail housing measures 72 x 35 x 118 mm and is rated for operation from -25 to +75 °C.
