The I-87K8 CR extends I/O over RS-485, giving engineers a way to add up to eight I-87K series I/O modules to a DCON network. Its isolated power input and wide operating temperature range suit installations where electrical noise and harsh conditions are a concern.
The unit supports more than 30 I/O modules, covering analog input and output, digital input and output, counter and frequency types. Modules plugged into the I-87K8 can be integrated into a range of software environments through the supplied development kits and drivers, including DLL, ActiveX, LabVIEW, InduSoft, Linux and OPC server options.
This blue-cover variant is RoHS compliant and carries CE, FCC and WEEE marks. It mounts on a DIN rail or to a wall, which simplifies installation and later maintenance of the I/O modules.
