The MN-HUB4EC is a Motionnet hub module that lets engineers build star or tree networks, where standard Motionnet only supports a daisy-chain layout. Each of its four channels has its own independent Motionnet transceiver, so branches can be routed from a central point.
Using a hub rather than a single chain can shorten the overall cable run and simplify installation, which can also reduce wiring cost. The module uses Mini-Clamp (e-CON) connectors for its communication lines and is powered from 12 to 24 V.
Per-channel LEDs show Motionnet activity, while the status indicators report communication state (link and error). The unit is rated for an operating temperature of 0 to +60 °C.
