PEX-P32C32 CR is a PCI Express x1 digital I/O board that pairs 32 optically isolated digital inputs with 32 optically isolated digital outputs, arranged in four isolated banks. It suits engineers who need to read dry or wet contacts and switch sink-type loads from a host PC while keeping the computer electrically separated from field wiring.
Each input channel uses a photocoupler and can be set by jumper to use either an internal isolated supply for dry-contact sensing or an external supply for wet signals. The outputs are NPN open-collector sinks rated at 100 mA per channel at +30 V, and output status can be read back at register level. An onboard 4-bit Card ID switch lets software identify the board when two or more cards are installed in the same computer.
