The PISO-DA4U/S CR is a universal PCI analog output board with four 14-bit channels, each individually configurable as a voltage output (±10 V) or a current output (0 to 20 mA). It suits engineers who need isolated analogue control signals in a PC-based data acquisition system.
This variant ships with a CA-3710 D-Sub cable rather than the CA-4002 D-Sub connector supplied with the PISO-DA4U CR. The board is designed as a drop-in replacement for the PIO-DA series, so existing software and drivers do not need to be modified. Channel calibration is performed in software, and the calibration data can be stored in EEPROM.
Key hardware includes 16 channels of 5 V/TTL digital input and 16 channels of 5 V/TTL digital output, three 16-bit timer/counter channels and a 4-bit Card ID switch for identifying boards when two or more are installed in the same computer.
