The TPD-703-64 is a 7-inch touch HMI for building and home automation, built around an 800 x 480 TFT colour touch screen. It can replace mechanical switches with an intelligent control pad that drives user-defined picture frames and works alongside a range of I/O modules.
This variant provides 64 MB SDRAM and 64 MB Flash, a 32-bit RISC CPU, a real time clock, and one RS-485 port (with Self-Tuner) and one 3-pin RS-232 port, both non-isolated. Ethernet is a 10/100 Base-TX RJ-45 port, and the unit can be powered over Ethernet to IEEE 802.3af Class 1 or from a +12 ~ 48 VDC terminal block.
For programming, HMIWorks supports Ladder Designer for PLC users and a C language environment for IT users, and the Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU protocols are supported, along with custom communication protocols written in C. The unit is wall mounted, with an IP40 front panel rating and an operating range of -10 ~ +60 °C.
