U-7524M is a networked I/O module that brings 4 analogue output, 5 digital input and 5 digital output channels onto an Ethernet network, with OPC UA Server and Client, MQTT Client and RESTful API protocols available. The three protocols can run at the same time, so values can be sent to a cloud platform for display and analysis while a field control system reads the same I/O.
The built-in dual-port 10/100 Base-TX switch allows modules to be daisy-chained, reducing cabling and the number of switch ports needed. The unit is powered either from an IEEE 802.3af Class 3 PoE network or from a +12 ~ +48 VDC terminal block. Configuration, control and I/O status monitoring are handled through the built-in web user interface, with no additional app required.
On-board logic lets engineers set IF, THEN, ELSE rules for I/O and virtual points, and schedule rules to run at specific times. Scaling converts analogue signals into more readable values. Trigger messages can be written to a CSV file or a line for device tracking, and the module is supported by IoTstar cloud management software.
