The WISE-2841M-4GC CR is an IIoT edge controller that collects data from field I/O, runs local control rules and forwards results to hosts, IT systems and cloud platforms. Configuration and monitoring are carried out entirely in a web browser, so no additional software tool is needed and control logic is edited through web pages rather than programmed.
Engineers will value the rule engine and the breadth of connectivity. IF-THEN-ELSE logic, timers, schedules and data logging can run on the unit, while Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU, DCON, MQTT and SNMP v2c/v3 cover common device and network integration. Encrypted links are available through HTTPS, SFTP and FTPS, and a VPN function is provided for access to isolated secure network segments.
The -4GC CR variant adds 4G wireless communication and is listed for the China frequency band and for China only. Dual RJ-45 Ethernet ports, one RS-232 port and two isolated RS-485 ports give flexible wiring, and the unit mounts on a wall or DIN rail with an operating range of -25 ~ +75 °C.
