The WP-9428-CE7 CR is a 4-slot programmable automation controller built around a 1.0 GHz Cortex-A8 processor and Windows CE 7.0. Control logic is developed in the embedded Win-GRAF SoftLogic environment following IEC 61131-3, while VB .NET or C# HMI and data management applications can exchange data with that logic.
Four slots accept High Profile I-9K (parallel-type) and I-97K (serial-type) I/O modules. Connectivity includes two RJ-45 10/100/1000 Base-TX Ethernet ports, one RS-232 and one RS-485 port, two RS-232/485 ports with 3000 VDC isolation, and two USB 2.0 ports. Modbus RTU/TCP master and slave and an OPC UA server are supported, and a VGA output drives 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 displays.
Power is supplied at +10 ~ 30 VDC with redundant power inputs and 1 kV isolation, with typical consumption of 16.8 W (0.7 A @ 24 VDC). The metal enclosure is specified for -25 ~ +75°C operation and mounts on DIN-rail or wall. This code is the 4-slot model; the 2-slot WP-9228-CE7 CR and 8-slot WP-9828-CE7 CR share the same platform.
