ET-2224CI is a 4-channel analog output module for Ethernet-based control networks. Each channel can be set individually to 0 ~ 5 V, 0 ~ 10 V, 0 ~ 20 mA or 4 ~ 20 mA, so one module can serve a mix of voltage and current actuators. Configuration is carried out through the built-in web server, and the power-on and safe output values are programmable for each channel.
The built-in 2-port 10/100 Base-Tx switch with LAN bypass allows devices to be daisy-chained along a line, reducing the cabling needed back to the switch. Open wire detection is provided for each 4 ~ 20 mA channel, and dual-watchdog support helps the module return to a defined state if communication is lost. I/O Pair Connection lets remote analog input data be written to local outputs via Modbus TCP.
For connectivity, the module supports Modbus TCP and Modbus UDP, and it can act as an MQTT publisher and subscriber, with automatic reconnection and Keep-Alive handling. SNMP V2c is also supported. The metal casing and DIN-rail mounting suit control cabinet installations, with 3000 VDC I/O and channel-to-channel isolation for noisy industrial environments.
