The ZT-2052 CR is a ZigBee router module that brings eight isolated wet-contact digital inputs into a wireless network. Each input is photocoupler-isolated, and sink or source wiring is selected through the field connections, so the module suits a range of sensor and switch types.
Every channel can operate as a 16-bit counter (up to 65535 counts), with a 100 Hz frequency and a 5 ms minimum pulse width. Address, protocol, checksum and ZB settings are chosen with the rotary and DIP switches, or adjusted through the Windows GUI configuration software. The module can also act as a ZigBee repeater to extend coverage.
Engineers typically choose the ZT-2052 CR for remote monitoring and diagnosis in building and factory automation, where wiring long runs to a central controller is impractical. It supports DCON and Modbus RTU, with up to 255 slaves.
